ONE UCB class.

Hello, my school has a concurrent enrollment program that I might be doing to be able to take ONE class at UCB.

My major is comp-sci/eng/math/something?

If i complete my current courseload which is Calc II(integral calculus), Gen Chem 1, and US History (pre reconstruction).

I may also complete CS1 (Intro to C++), Intro to Python, and intro to Unix shell scripting. (though one of these might get dropped).

What would you guys reccomend I take as a next course?

What do you think is the best class there after my current courseload that offers something that I would only be able to get at UCB. (Something that the school is known for). I want to make the most out of it.

I also still have a couple of gen ed requirements? Including poli-sci and possibly oral communication or some extra curricular programming or engineering course?

I’m not a perfect 4.0 student here, so i’ll likely want to avoid the honors courses.

Your target schools?

If you are thinking of a major in CS at UCB, you may consider CS 61A. You can preview it at http://cs61a.org , or self-study it from there if you are highly motivated.

Note that, due to the rapid rise in the popularity of studying CS, CS 61A is the largest class at UCB. If you prefer a smaller class, Laney College’s CIS 61 is articulated to UCB CS 61A, according to http://web2.assist.org/web-assist/report.do?agreement=aa&reportPath=REPORT_2&reportScript=Rep2.pl&event=18&swap=1&dir=1&sia=LANEY&ria=UCB&ia=LANEY&oia=UCB&aay=15-16&ay=15-16&dora=COMPSCI .

I don’t think you really understood my question but thanks for the reply.
