( ) is underlined part

A) is that they have an interest in how people think and questions about human behavior.
B) are having an interest in how people think and they have questions about human behavior.
C) are that they have an interest in how people think and questions about human behavior.
D) is having interest in how people think and questioning human behavior.
E) are having interests in how people think, in addition to questioning human behavior.

I think the answer is “B”, but I am not sure.
Is there any other opinion and explain the reason?

I’m fairly certain the answer is C. “Main reasons” is plural, so the verb must be “are”. You also have to keep in mind the constructions: “The main reason…is that” or “The main reasons…are that”.
