Online/Distance Learning&Pass/Fails

When I was looking into transferring, many schools did not give credit for “distance learning” or taking courses online. I’m leaning toward taking my required theology course online because I’ve gone to Catholic school since I was 4 and don’t think 3 hours per week in person learning on top of homework time is really necessary for me. Additionally, I am planning to S/US spanish 2 (like pass fail except a C and up is S instead of a F) because I really struggled to get just a B this semester.

I am no longer transferring for financial reasons, but will grad school (law school) look down on this schedule? I know it’s early on and I have ways to go. I’m thinking of adding a 6th course to make up for the slack because with spanish as less of a concern and more time because of the online class I believe I’ll have the time for it (and there’s always add drop if I see the syllabus and freak out).

I don’t really know much about graduate school admissions, but do they care about schedules as much as high school? Would this look strange? I know this probably sounds terrible, but I really don’t like stress (lol who does). I tend to crack really easily and foreign language is just a nightmare for me.

My other option is taking spanish over the summer at another college so the grade won’t go into my GPA. I could take theology in person if I do this, but I’d really rather not if it wouldn’t make a huge difference.
