<p>Hey guys, i’ve had my sweetland essay finished since the beginning of summer, but i hadn’t really fine tuned the whole paper. My total essay ended up being 1,400 ish words, the directions indicate a 1,000 - 1,200 word limit. I managed to get the count down to 1,300 but cutting out a couple of minor details and adjectives.</p>
<p>I was wondering how strictly should I approach the word limit in terms of cutting my current paper down. Like always, i appreciated the responses: Thanks Guys!</p>

<p>I would say just submit it. The essay honestly doesn’t seem like a big deal. When I was a freshman, I actually didn’t submit it until the day before classes started, and I was still able to register in my choice of first-year writing during orientation.</p>
