Online moms are awesome!

I just went to the Princeton place and cookiemom and dizzymom are so calming. It just made me so grateful for OUR moms: andi and berurah. Well, I’m assuming they’re moms, not dads. Okay, I’m grateful to our Yale PARENTS who always have a soothing comment and a nice warm e-cookie.

Agreed!

They are great  I’m glad you made this appreciation thread for them. Our Yale EA moms are the greatest.

yeah they are! thanks you guys! you ROCK

Yay! I love andi and berurah! And e-cookies! (we eat a lot of those around here)

aww, this is a nice thread. I’ll make e-brownies for andi and berujah! big hug! :)

To all of my EA hopeful kiddos!!!

I really, really hope that your IRL parents don’t mind my cyber-adopting ALL of you!! I have six kids in my home, but you are ALL my kids in my heart! It’s funny, I find myself at odd moments thinking about you, wondering how you are all holding up under the stress and how you are managing with your schoolwork amidst all the college pressure. I am so hoping for and wishing for EA acceptance for each and every one of you. Regardless, I’ll be there for you as we near the end of this first leg of our college application journey. Thanks to all of you…your post made my day!

love, berurah (and yes, I am a mom! )

That is so very sweet. :)

Thanks for all the support you’ve given us! It means more than you can imagine.

Awwww! I wish my parents were as supportive as you are. I mean, my parents support me financially, and about the college stuff (for the most part). Thanks for CARING. tears up

Thank you sooooo much. It’s because of all of you that I kept coming back to this site!! I came on in October to ask a question and was so touched by your responses that before I knew it I was hooked!! I had to confess- very sheepishly I might add- to my son – that I was in a forum with potential Yalies. :o I thought he’d be horrified, and even worse think I’d gone over the edge when I told him about talking with kids who had names like berbere, ivyboy, fiddlefrog and the rest of you. Your characters have evolved bit by bit through your posts and you are all so funny and creative and supportive of each other. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you thru cyberspace. Now lets hang tough thru the next few days. Thanks for the cookies - I had them with cocoa. I give you all shoulder rubs.

You are an awesome cybermom and a fabulous cyberfriend! I had to laugh when you talked about having to sheepishly admit to your son about posting on this forum! I had to do the same, but now, I find him reading over my shoulder and asking about his partners-in-application on this board. This is a great place with great people! ~fondly, berurah

Thanks berurah  We’ll all have to hold hands for the next few days.
