Online place to order prescription RayBan sunglasses?

I remember reading about people who had success getting prescription sunglasses on-line. Is anyone aware of a site where you can get Raybans with prescription lenses?

I don’t know if they offer RayBans, but I get my prescription sunglasses from Zenni Optical. I believe they also offer transition lenses, but those cost quite a bit more. I’ve always been happy with the glasses and the service, and the prices.

I never knew if they were “real” or not, but after hubby left his 2-month old raybans on the train I ordered him a pair of non-prescription raybans (same frame) from ebay and took them to our regular optician and got new prescription lenses for them. You could probably also take any frame to walmart or somewhere to get lenses made. I paid the same amount on ebay as what we had to pay in the upcharge using our optical insurance. Hubby’s were different than the wayfarers that son got.

I have also ordered non-Rx raybans twice from Amazon and they seem fine. Not sure if all frames can accept Rx lenses. It probably depends on your prescription. Hubby’s is only -2.00 or better. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UQ71G4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Costco will install lenses in most frames. If the frames are not ones that they sold and carry, you have to pay an additional charge, but it’s $7 or 20 more, I believe.
