Hello I am a prospective economics major hoping to go to one of the Ivies. I know most recommend 4 years so can I still get in if I only have 2 years? Is it worth it to take another year of foreign language during senior year?
Most of the top schools recommend 3 or 4 years of world language. Depending on the rest of your application, this may affect your chance significantly. You may consider taking a summer class at a CC which would be equivalent to 1 year of HS world language.
Will your application be automatically rejected? No. Will you be severely disadvantaged? Yes.
Yes and/or take a summer class/online class/cc class.
