<p>I’m an info sci major and I’m trying to sign up for INFO 1300, however, there are only discussions open and no lectures. Does this mean the lectures are filled up? Can you take a course with discussion only? Thanks.</p>
<p>hey! I am a science major as well and I noticed that sometimes the lectures with discussions are noted as closed (blue box) when they are open. If you have seen what I have seen then youll note the green circle noting the discussion is open. HOWEVER, when you do the class search you will note that a little box is checked saying “search only open classes.” What does that mean? Your lecture is open even though it says its closed. If you have any more questions call registration @ (607) 255-4232.</p>
<p>thanks for the response. What I meant was I unchecked the only open classes, and found INFO 1300, cept it IS full, 100/100 available seats 0.</p>
<p>you can choose to be put on the wait list if the class is full
or just wait until someone drops out of the lecture</p>
