I already submitted my application.
I applied to LSA as undecided but wrote that I was interested in studying international studies.

I just remembered that my teacher’s rec is from my science teacher and how I asked her to write about my strongskills in science and etc…(Initially, Iwwas going o apply as science major)

Is it ok even tho my rec is not relevant to my major?

and I made a grammatical mistake in my essay.
I wrote " I will not limit myself even before giving it a try" and right after submitting the app, I realized how asian english this sounds.
hoping they won’t judge me on one sentence.

The mistake on your essay shouldn’t really matter. Your teacher recommendation won’t hurt you at all, but it probably won’t help much if the skills she talks about acedemic traits you have that have nothing to do with your major.

The grammar mistake isn’t terrible, and the admissions person reading over your essay will probably be reading so quickly that it will go unnoticed.

As for the rec issue, don’t worry. Rather than limiting you, it conveys that you have a wide range of interests and strengths, which is exactly what LSA is looking for.

Do you mind supplying your stats? Because these minor mistakes would only hurt you if you were borderline…
