Oops, I failed PACE. Now what?

PACE, as you all know, is a constant source of misery and frustration for every freshman.

All year long, I fell out of bed and stumbled to those sessions, merely forcing myself to relocate my sleeping quarters. Out of insecurity, I must say I’m not a bad student by any means. I just hate PACE.

I did about 95% of what I needed to do but I absolutely didn’t write all those 5 page make up essays. The moment I got home for the summer, PACE’s nagging mental onus was lifted entirely. So I forgot to do those BS assignments and now on opus it says “U” for PACE.

So now what? And don’t chastise me for being immature, not “buckling down” and thinking I have better things to do because I don’t care. It’s over now.

Does anyone know of someone who talked their way out of this (and if so, how)? Maybe I can just talk to the right person, reason with them, get this cleared away? I really don’t want to retake that terrible class.

don’t fail me now, CC.

I don’t see that there is any line of reasoning that could get you out.

I think you have to take it to graduate. They will make you retake it. I didn’t attend any of the sessions, I just wrote some ******** make-up essays and I ended up passing.

This is why I’m so happy I did my first year at a state school and transferred in. I’m pretty amazed at how much nonsense Emory puts its freshmen through.
