Oops :[ I think I messed up with score-choice?

When I was a sophomore (I’m currently a senior) I took the SAT II Chem test and bombed it. On the December 2008 SAT I test, I sent my scores to four colleges but I wasn’t completely sure of their SAT score-choice policies (plus that wasn’t in effect until March 2009) so I went all my scores, including the Chem test I bombed. I took the SAT I again in March 2009 when the score-choice policy was instituted and decided to try it out. I sent my scores to the same four schools. I did the same thing in October 2009. I hid that Chem test I bombed from two schools that probably previously saw it from my December 2008 report.

I was researching each school’s specific policies on score-choice and I found out that the two schools I hid the Chem test from require that all tests be submitted from all dates, and now I feel really panicky because it’s like I broke some kind of honor-code policy (like I was dishonest, but it was really me not doing enough research… by the same token I wasn’t really sure what damage hiding a report could do, it was too new at that point, and in October I still hadn’t done the research because I signed up in August when I wasn’t sure where I was applying). I am taking three more subject tests in December this year, again sending the scores to the same school that didn’t honor score-choice…

I plan on submitting EVERYTHING now, and I know that the schools only requires two SAT subject tests, but will I be penalized for hiding the Chem test at one point?

Pleaseeee help. =/

As long as you report it from now on, I think you’ll be fine.

Yeah, I agree. Follow the rules from now and I bet the admins will be like, “well, at least she’s following the policy now”

Good luck to where ever you’re applying to!
