Oos @ A&m

Two questions:

How is it for OOS students at A&M, which appears to be overwhelmingly in-state students. (considering I am from Massachusetts)

Are my chances better or worse considering the state I am from? (MA)

I'm the mom of an in-state student. It's probably hard on the OOS students when the in-state students go home on non-football weekends in the fall.

I don't think your chances would be affected at all by which state you are from. However, if you let Admissions know that you are planning to join the Corps of Cadets, that supposedly helps a lot. You would need to commit to do that of course....and it's not for the faint of heart. Here is YouTube video that has an overview: YouTube - The Corps Experience

Your OOS status won't really hurt your chance as long as you are going to pay OOS tuition.
