OOS applicants

you can poke through the common data set here: [Common Data Set](http://web.wm.edu/ir/CDS/cds.html)

There are roughly 3500 acceptances handed out (10000 applications and a 35% acceptance rate, as guideline numbers). If 1/3 of them are out of state (assuming equal yield from out of state and in state students), that means ~1200 out of state acceptances going out, which means ~650 female OOS acceptances?

HOWEVER… I am fairly confident that the yield for instate is higher than out of state, so the 3500 acceptances are probably NOT split 2/3 in-state, 1/3 out of state, but closer to 50/50.

(this is all guesswork and should not be taken as fact)
