<p>Just curious, do OOS at Cornell have a better chance for acceptance? I read somewhere that almost 65% of Cornell’s applicants come from NY…any truth to this? I’m from Meechigan btw :P</p>
<p>alot of people are from ny bc some of the schools in cornell are public and offer in-state tuition to new yorkers… the private schools (arts and sciences, engineering, architecture, and hotel) are much more competitive and and have a much more diverse group of students from different states. so yea u may have a better chance applying to one of the public schools (human ecology, cals, or ilr) but not the others. michigan may give u a slight advantage over someone from the northeast but that would be the same with any school thats not near michigan</p>
