<p>I’m planning to transfer to UCB or UCLA in 2012 and I’m not really sure what I should do to prepare. I’ve been reading and most people say that coming from another state lowers my chance by a lot so I guess might need a solid application. </p>

<p>I’m pretty confident about getting high GPAs since my brother & cousin went to the same community college and said that the lessons were easy. They had like 4.0s in most if not all of they subjects. My real problem would probably lie in ECs since I literally do not have any. Just asking what I should do and if I would have a chance at getting in.</p>

<p>Well I know student government is a great place to start and getting a feel for what’s going on in school. What are your interests? Build from there by making connections & asking around for potential EC’s.</p>
