Hey there! UVA is currently on my list of colleges I would like to attend, but I’m finding it hard to find if their financial aid is good for OOS. There hasn’t been a clear answer that I could understand, so I just wanted to make my own post and ask! I’m in a low middle class family, so I hope that helps! Thanks
All colleges have a Net Price Calculator on their website. Fill it out and see.
You’ll have to verify but I think UVA meets full demonstrated need even for OOS. However, do you realize that the OOS admission rate is approx. 23%? And it requires the CSS Profile in addition to FAFSA.

had a 3.6 gpa, and as for SAT scores, I just took my first one a couple days ago, but lets assume that I most likely got a average score.

What was your SAT?
With your GPA, it is very unlikely that you’d get into UVA.
You need to do better research. You’re a nursing major but in another post you mention schools like UCSD and UCSF. UCSF doesnt’ have any undergraduate students…and UCSD doesn’t have a BSN program.
If you’re low income and a Calif resident, then look at the Calif publics, particularly UCs that have nursing programs.
UVA meets full need for all students, including OOS. You should know that being accepted as an OOS student is very difficult and typically requires being at the very top of your HS class with high test scores. UVA may be difficult for you with a 3.6, but there are plenty of colleges that would love to have you.
UVA meets full need fo all acceoted students as UVA calculates that need to be. However, macceptance to UVA as an OOS student is a very competitive admit.
I’m sure hoping you are a HS junior who can get all A’s this year to bring up that GPA, and that you get a very high SAT score. You might want to also take the ACT.
To be honest, right now…your 3.6 GPA would not make you a slam dunk for admission to UVA.
