<pre><code> I’m looking to transfer to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign after completing a two year degree at a community college in another state (Georgia). How feasible is this? The college is Georgia Highlands College (Marietta Campus). I wish to enter Urbana-Champaign’s Civil Engineering program. I understand that admission is highly competitive. What would you suggest I major in at Highlands? I choose Highlands because of its proximity to my home and if possible I would rather not relocate to another school or state, but it if isn’t possible to do it there I will move to where it is. If it is just more difficult to do it here I do not mind that. Difficult I can do. I have my heart set on attending Urbana-Champaign and I will do whatever is necessary to get there.
