This is my first time posting here, so let’s give it a shot.
I’m looking to transfer from an Arizona community college to San Diego State University in the fall of 2017. Currently, I am working toward obtaining two associate’s degrees: Television Production and Theatre. I’m planning on transferring to get my bachelor’s degree in theatre from SDSU. However, I have some extenuating circumstances that may affect my chances, and I was just wondering if anyone has ever had similar experiences.
I previously attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff from 2011-2014, but had to drop out due to medical circumstances. Because of this, my transcript has two semesters’ worth of withdrawals, though they are listed as medical withdrawals. I then moved back home and changed my major when I went to community college, so I’m on track with everything now. I’m just curious if anyone has had experience with SDSU on matters such as this. Should I write to admissions and send them proof of my medical withdrawal?
