OK – who’s up for a non-college related thread?

Have you gotten your nails done recently? What’s with all the names for the colors – Suzy and the Lifeguard, Starter Wife, Her Royal Shyness? I remember they used to be called “pink” or “clear”.

So this thread will be where you can post your favorite name for a nail color. Not your favorite color – your favorite name.

I think Essie wins the naming thing for cute and catchy. Opi has more edge (Linkin Park after Dark, etc.)

Or suggest your own name. Essie has South of the Highway and Dune Road. Why not…Jersey Shore?

OPI has about 4 series per year, each with a “theme” …I love so many of their names…“Paint my moji-toes” is a fav name and color.

I’ve been using OPI Brisbane Bronze for 5+ years and imagine lying on an Australian beach when I re-paint my toes.

(FYI - Jersey shore would be an ugly French manicure!)

My favorite is the Opi. “I’m not really a waitress.”. I love the color and always get compliments on it. The great name is a bonus.

I think all the names are so clever! They never seem to run out of them, either!

My favorite is OPI’s “Mrs. O’Leary’s BBQ.”

I’m a Vodka and Caviar (OPI) fan, but have been known to sport I’m Not Really a Waitress. I love to look at the new colors, but can’t seem to abandon these two wonderful reds.

For much of the spring, I wore Too Hot Pink to Hold 'Em from the Texas line.

Being from the Chicago area, I also like Lincoln Park After Dark as a name (only have worn it a couple of times).
