Experiences and commenst with purchasing and getting installed a Bath Fitter tub/showe. Good, bad, worthwhile? Approximate cost?

I will say this …I researched this a lot a couple years back and I read a lot of “poor” reviews and the one thing I was most concerned about was some people complained of “noxious orders” but on line reviews are always questionable I guess. in the end I did the more expensive route and had the shower area ripped out and it is very smart i took the harder route. the shower pan, drain and walls were a disaster and 3 layers of tile from previous crappy renovations. the bath fitter would have been a patch at best for me.

Rip it all out and start fresh.
motherofdragons, it is not much more money or possibly the same to do a rip out rebuild and do it right! of course when you find the 40 year long leak that has rotted out the wood under flooring in the bathroom and over the garage it will cost even more but those are issues that must be addressed.
