@Keidusii Since UMich is near your home, I suggest you (re)attend an information session and campus tour, and if possible, attend classes taught by professors of your intended major department. Then rewrite your essay with much more specific reasons why UMich. If you are not able to revisit, then spend time to research on UMich website.
