opinions on these math professors?

Does anyone have any previous experiences with wither Williams M.B, Ma J., or Duncan A.R, in any type of math class?

Thanks

why does it matter? don't you resent all assistant professors anyways??

What makes you say I "resent" them? Did I explicitly say that I "hate" assistant professors? No, I didn't. I said I don't trust them as much as experienced professors because they don't yet have an established teaching style so the students have to suffer through a bunch of blunders which inevitably affect their grades (at least from my current experience with my math assistant professor). Hence why I created this post..

Might want to grow up...

Anyway, if anyone else has something productive to say, I'd appreciate it.

Resent =/= hate buddy...

resent |riˈzent|
verb [ with obj. ]
feel bitterness or indignation at (a circumstance, action, or person): she resented the fact that I had children.
SYNONYMS: begrudge, feel aggrieved at/about, feel bitter about, grudge, be annoyed at/about, be resentful of, dislike, take exception to, object to, take amiss, take offense at, take umbrage at, bear/harbor a grudge about. ANTONYMS welcome.

I do not see hate anywhere there...do you? There is a reason I chose "resent" instead of "hate" buddy. Sounds like you do resent assistant math professors, because one probably gave you a B. Boo hoo quite complaining and soldier through it. rantOne of the main reasons I don't like a lot of premeds and life science majors is that you guys are all a bunch of pussies. Just learn to soldier through bad professors rather than complaining every five seconds.rant

You've been here for a whole f***ing quarter. I don't know how you can make such blatant generalizations as: "they don't yet have an established teaching style so the students have to suffer through a bunch of blunders which inevitably affect their grades" based on just one quarter here.

First of all, I couldn't care less how carefully chosen your words were.. the fact that you found it necessary to define "resent" just shows how ridiculously immature you are. Second, you're talking about generalizations? You just automatically assumed I was pre-med because I actually care about my grades... Well, it just so happens I'm not pre-med -___-. Did I make a generalization? Yes, of course I did, based on my own experience (however brief) and it's my personal choice whether I want to avoid a specific assistant professor or not (NOT yours). Why would I "soldier" it through like some blabbering moron when I can choose a professor that actually fits my learning style? And you were wrong, no B's just yet :D

Just had to bump in and point out the irony of:

because it made me chuckle

@TiaWNPP: this kid really needs to do some growing up. His logic is so fallacious, that I don't even want to bother arguing with him anymore.

But, to make things clear, I said "premeds and life science majors" and I didn't say "all" I said "a lot"...My words have been carefully chosen, do not skew what I said, do not twist what I said, and do not change my words. You call me immature...fine, I'll take it! But you are just some insignificant freshman, with a big ass ego, who needs a strong kick in the ass, and a wake up call...Good luck, over the next four years good sir.

yeah, it made me chuckle too.

idk why you guys think i'm immature, i just complain about my school every single chance i get. Gosh, that's my right guys, grow up!

Idk if you three are a$$ hurt because I'm bursting your perfect UCLA bubble from time to time or if you're outright ignorant.. Either way, I don't really care. All I did was ask a simple question, and you just started some type of vendetta about pretty much nothing. Brosiedon and Beyphy, you can keep writing if it makes you feel better, keep "imitating" my voice using your wildly expressive phrases and wow us with your incredible sense of maturity which must come from the mere fact that you're older than me -___- Apparently TiaWNPP agrees (xD). I'm done with this conversation.

Ay ay ay. I'd love to meet this kid in real life.

^LOL seriously.
