Hello! I am currently a high school sophomore and I am currently
aiming for a few schools. My HUGE goal is Yale, because a relative of mine has
attended and I absolutely fell in love when I visited. I’m very
interested as well in Cornell, Carnegie Mellon and Boston University.
Of course, medium-range and safe schools on the list. I don’t have
specifics on me as of right now, but I was just wondering an opinion
on the chances I may have. I am currently looking at a psychology major and women’s studies minor, although my interests have changed here and there. Thank you so much for your input!
CLUBS: Jazz Choir, School Musicals, Varsity Mock Trial,
Global Awareness Club; next year planning to manage women’s soccer
team, class officer: secretary, NHS
VOLUNTEERING: Headstart (15), Freshman Preview Night (12), Pocono
Wildlife Rehabilitation Center over the summer
Planning to take the SATs, although my grades weren’t too great on my
PSATs. In all fairness, I didn’t take it as seriously as I
should/could have. I’ll have a better standing once I take them in
about a month.
VERY vague transcript: (side note-majority of my grades are above a
95, I just don’t have a copy of my transcript as of now)
CLASS RANK: lowest having been 18/300-something (want to say 330-340),
current one having been unclear because my report card got screwed up.
