should i send in my 29 act, or my 1870 sat?
also, i’m wondering what you think my chances in these schools might be…
gpa:3.3
Act:29
sat:1870
extracurricular: was on the robotics team when we won 4th in nationals, been in many clubs (ocean bowl, national honors society, etc.), and 300 community service hours from UCLA medical hospital, and cedars Sinai hopital.
I got a D in honors pre-calc first semester my junior year, then got a B in regular pre-calc second semester, currently taking AP calculus AB, and will get a C or better.
taken all honors and Aps throughout highschool, no regular classes.
I’ve had a hard life, which lead to my pretty low GPA. I’m planning to write how this experience has made me better, and other things in my essays. Everything else is above average, except for my GPA probably. I’m trying to either be a businessman, lawyer, or doctor, so i’ll probably do the JD/MBA programs in my undergrad for the privates, such as the one at pepperdine.
I am applying to:
UCLA
Ucsb
ucsd
ucsc
ucd
uci
ucr
csun
university of san fransisco
pepperdine
university of michigan
Boston university.

Your chances at UMich are practically nil from my experience with its admissions policies. Good luck to some of the others, though.

Thanks for your opinion man. I actually thought my chances at Umich were pretty good. you never know, so i’m just going to try. My cousin goes there. All my family has gone to the best schools, Ucla, usc, stanford, harvard, johns hopkins, etc. and i kinda don’t want to be the failure of the family. but i actually have a valid reason for that slightly low gpa. I’ll just apply to all these, and hope i can get into them. but i’d like more opinions for all the other schools! <3

Bumppppppppppppppppp
