i was just wondering if anyone had opinions on these two photos:

and

any comments would be super nice :)

Out of the two, I like blue much more.
I think it’s because the inviting colors and the position of the fence makes me feel like I’m actually there.
I don’t really like any of the lighted christmas decorations because they give a weird ambience (Is that the right word for that?). And in comparing the two, blue seems to be more professional to me. Of the christmas decorations shots, I liek the mice the best because of the repitition and I’m a sucker for diagnol lines.

Both have their merits, it would depend upon what you want to do or say with them. It’s impossible to say one is better than another without knowing your intent.

They both look very average and nothing out of the ordinary to me. Is this suppose to be a portfolio or something?

to rainingagain, I don’t see how you say it’s impossible to pick a better photo without knowing intents.
If in a portfolio, album, show, or any other exhibit, the photos would most likely be shown alone, with no explanation of intent. Are you saying that it’s impossible to pick the best piece in a show without knowing what’s being conveyed? If the photographer had the intent to do something or convey a message, it would show.
