<p>I am confused about the structure of the optional essay. It doesn’t really say to elaborate on your selections. Are you expected to do this? If you don’t elaborate would that be detrimental to your application?</p>
<p>You can give a list, write an essay on one specific choice, and anything in between. :)</p>
