<p>I never submitted the optional free-write essay on the UM app, is it too late to submit maybe my common app essay? It’s a good essay, really gives a good impresison about me and my love for composing music. I sent in the app around october 6th or so, and my file’s been complete for a while now.</p>
<p>You could call them ask them if they made your decision… I’m sure they made your decision you should be receiving the letter any day now…maybe if they didn’t you could tell them to keep your app to the side and send it to the adcoms as soon as they receive your essay… not sure just an idea… good luck</p>
<p>I hear that UM does the letters in batches based on location, so in state kids get letters before the out of state kids. maybe its just a rumor, but I am hoping for a letter soon.</p>
