Optional question - too long?

<p>I just finished answering the optional question. I know that we are supposed to write “a paragraph or two” but my essay has four and is about 600 words!
I wrote about my favourite book and I am very pleased with the result. However, I don’t want the legth to make a bad impression.</p>

<p>Do I really need to make it shorter? :S</p>

<p>It is on the long side, but I would not sweat it. Just make sure and remove any redundant/unnecessary information. Nothing worse than reading a long, wordy essay.</p>
