optional rec and interview weight

<p>hey guys. i have two questions. </p>

<p>1) How much importance do you think they give the optional rec? or, do you think its just an additional source of information </p>

<p>2) I got an interview and it went really well and im hoping it counts for something. should i not keep my hopes up? do we think stanford will even evaluate it?</p>

<p>1) I think the optional rec would be counted pretty well if it’s well written/insightful.
2) Of course they’ll use the interview! That pretty much shows them who you actually are.</p>

<p>I’m not admissions rep, so don’t take my word on this, but this is what I think.</p>
