<p>I thought I searched the CMU website pretty thoroughly, but I can’t find the answer to my question, which is why I’m asking here: If I have an additional/optional rec, do I need any kind of special form for that? I know Stanford and Princeton, for example, both require it. Does CMU?

<p>I asked an admission representative a while. Just get the person to type a letter and mail it. Make sure they include how they know you and how long. Also, make sure to include your personal info (full name, birthdate, SS number).</p>
<p>I would consider using another one of the common app forms…I think that is what I did for all of mine (but I can’t remember if I had more than 2…lol)</p>
