<p>This post is for my friend a bio-chem major. She is applying to college this fall and she will have around a 3.08 before summer. </p>
<p>She was wondering what universities are at her reach. She will have a year of chemistry and a semester of o-chem done by next spring. Along with 1.5 years of biology, and Calculus 1 done.</p>
<p>tell her to sign a tag with ucsb/uci. i tihnk the requirements are like 3.0</p>
<p>I would try all she is interested in. TAG all the ones that available for her. TAG chemistry/biochemistry for UCSD not bio department one (impacted next fall). Also take calculus based physics. So you can get into those chemistry based biochem programs and keep her options open just in case she wants to do engineering instead.</p>
