Aren’t girls already stronger students, on average, than boys?
They are still under-represented in most STEM subjects except Bio. My kid’s college (Mudd) graduated more women physics majors this year than men --but I think they probably were the only co-ed school in the country to do so.
Oracle should spend the $3 million on improving the image of the IT discipline. Maybe buy tanning beds, so IT majors don’t look like they have a vitamin D deficiency.
My son and his male engineering friends are big supporters if this initiative. 
“Learning” isn’t the problem necessarily…are they going to spend the money on making girls have a different opinion about those careers? Are they going to make girls “like” those careers more?
