Ordering T-giving

I ordered the entire Thanksgiving dinner for 12, so I imagine it’s the regular turkey. I’m not into organic. My SIL had a tough time at my house, poor woman.

^^^Thanks, @MaineLonghorn . If memory serves, one year I bought a fresh organic turkey and cooked it at home. I brined it, did the whole thing to make it the most perfect turkey ever, and it was absolutely the worst I’d ever cooked. Thank goodness I’d also bought a pre-cooked smoked turkey and we had plenty of gravy.

^One year, a bunch of people on my husband’s side of the family came for Thanksgiving. I went to Whole Foods with my two SILs. Oh, my gosh. Everything had to be organic. Roast beef at $16/pound, etc., etc., etc. I was going to buy regular tomatoes and one SIL said the other one would have a cow if I did that. The grocery bill was about $950 for not that much food. I was not happy.

^^ wow, that’s crazy. They should have paid for it if they were so demanding. Or at least offer to pay.
