<p>Just finished cleaning out an infestation of weevils that apparently hatched from a grain product in a cupboard. Yuck. I don’t know of an effective repellent that I can use around food. I looked up a couple industrial type eco friendly products- expensive and in too large a quantity. Has anyone had any experience with this?</p>
<p>We know how you feel. We too have flour moths around and periodically we have to toss all food out except for positively sealed containers. Even glass containers contaminated with moth eggs if jar or lid or food not properly sanitized. The old methods of killing insects (bromine, organophospates, DDT type of chems, pyrethins, have been off the market for direct food contact for a long time. Use food quickly is the best method of insect control.</p>
