Organizations, Clubs, and Greek Life

Which appeal to you? You’re not going to college just for book learnin’ I hope!

definitely joining the greek life, and gonna go for the club water polo team, not varsity team since it is number 1 in the nation!

I’m thinking about joining the Tae Kwon Do club, as I already have a 1st Dan black belt and I’ve been training in martial arts for over 11 years, but I still need to see whether or not they have full contact sparring without the excessive padding W-T-F TKD is famous for. I’m also wondering if there is a full contact Karate club or any good old-school full contact Karate schools around USC that teaches Kyokushin Karate or Shotokan Karate? If there is, then USC will jump up in my list from #2 school to #1. If not, then I might have to decline.

I was looking through the organizations a while ago, apparently there’s an ultimate frisbee team for the Keck School of Medicine–“Herniated Disc”. I am neither interested in medicine nor ultimate frisbee, but the name almost made me want to join :]

Hope that your very specific requirements can be fulfilled at USC.

Well this link would help…:

[USC Student Organizations](http://sait.usc.edu/stuorgs/organizations.asp)

AAM, I looked through and I saw Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and Capoeira, but not TKD.

TKD is offered at USC.

[USC Taekwondo - Home](http://www-scf.usc.edu/~tkdclub/)

Dance Included, Break Through, Contemporary Dance Collaborative, Repertory Dance Company…I pretty much wanna join all the dance groups at USC. I don’t think I would rush there, it doesn’t seem like a great fit for me, though I would definitely rush at other schools.

Well that’s good that TKD is offered. When searched for it, I think I typed it in as “tae kwon do” and “TKD” instead of all one word… I could’ve just typed “tae.”
