Organizing Prep

I’ve looked around for a thread talking about this- but I haven’t found anything, so I’m going to go ahead and ask.

How do you guys organize your prep for the SAT/ACT? Especially those of you who’ve studied/are studying for a long time. Do you use a binder to keep everything together? A spreadsheet to keep track of practice tests, questions missed?

I’m curious, because I want a better organizational system rather than just plopping down in a chair and pulling out a prep book. I’m just not sure how to go about it.

Suggestions?

I would suggest that you get a binder and keep all of your tests there. The reason why i say this is because the SAT likes to test the similar material and so with a binder you could easily compare two or more tests with each other. For the ACT’s, if you want you could get a binder and keep track of the tests but be sure to go over it and see the concepts (not questions) you got wrong. Also when doing practice sections try and give yourself at least 5 minutes less than the time provided because it will work wonders for you on test day.
Good Luck :)

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be getting a binder together then, to make it easier to compare tests and such. =)
