<p>And another question: Do we bring our books and stuff to class on the first day of school? Or will the professor let us know one class beforehand to bring books the next session? Thanks.</p>
<p>YMMV, but I haven’t had any large lecture classes that ever needed the book in class. For smaller classes (especially with humanities-ish reading (as a lot of profs sometimes do close readings in classa) or lots of formulas if you haven’t memorized them yet) bring whatever book you are currently working with.</p>
