I live fairly far away from campus and I wanted to know how the ride share worked.

You mean how much you’ll have to pay living off campus and how much it costs to ride back to campus? If you’re taking the Athens transit, it’s free. Well, not exactly, but your transportation fees cover payment for the Athens transit. All you do is swipe your UGA card to get on the bus. Otherwise, it’s $1.50.

No… I thought there was a Commuter program where people who have cars can basically advertise a ride to destination AYZ on a board (someplace in the tate center I think) and people who don’t have rides can pair up with these people and they, together, get to AYZ Destination… Say for example Jane wanted to get to Savanah but she does not have a car. So she goes to the Commuter Board and sees that on july 5th Dacy is going to Savannah so Jane contacts Dacy and Dacy agrees and Jane and Dacy both get to Savannah.
Or maybe I’m confusing this program with one at an another school

I’ve never heard of that, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
