Orientation session and foreign language questions

A few questions:

1) Based on my family schedule, it looks like I will be registering to a later orientation session (mid July), will this impact my ability to register to classes? For example, some classes may have been filled up if not registering earlier?

2) What are foreign language requirements for Accounting major students? Is it required to take the foreign language placement test?

Thanks!

They open up new classes and spaces in classes for each orientation session. Some of the popular times for classes may be harder to find tho.

2) according to the pre-orientation homework I think all students who’s mother language is english have to take the foreign language placement test. One of the steps in the pre-orientation homework thing explains this in more detail.

I’m pretty sure if you’re an Accounting major, you still have to take the foreign language placement test, but it won’t really count. But it’s good to take it and clear it, no harm in doing so! Especially if you want to take a language at SC.

I’m a BUAD major and we still have to take the placement test, but there’s no foreign language requirement to cover.
