<p>hi i have a question. i know all subcolleges may have slightly different orientation websites, but maybe one of you can still help me.</p>
<p>under my academic information, for placements tests…i’m stuck on the foreign language question. i am in ERC, which has a foreign language requirement. however, i am exempt from it because i got a 700 or higher on a SAT II foreign language test (Chinese). i do not plan to take foreign language in college either. so would the option in the drop down menu that applies to me be “not taking a language” or “other or new language”? i am not sure if they mean what i have taken before or what i am going to take at ucsd.</p>
