Orlando Locals -- Looking for Locally Owned Restaurant for Group Dinner

<p>I’m part of a national organization that has a group meeting in conjunction with a trade show next month in Orlando. We’ll be at the convention center for our meeting the day before the trade show and a bunch of us want to go to dinner as a group. Think 20 or so people.</p>

<p>I’d proposed a place I like – but it’s a chain – and since ALL of us are independent retailers the thought has been raised that we should support independent restaurants.</p>

<p>So – in the Convention Center / I-Drive area does anyone have any suggestions? Prefer nothing too adventurous or ethnic, that would be able to accommodate our group. Ideas? Please?</p>

<p>I’m not sure there is anything that can meet our specs in the close area – and quite frankly none of us will have vehicles so we are cabbing / trolleying / or walking.</p>

<p>CNP—I also do my best to frequent locally owned restaurants. Have you tried using YELP for this? You can search on Orlando, focus the map feature on the convention center and see what restaurants pass the good review test.</p>
