Osu essay

Hello,
I just wanted some people to check over my essay to make sure I didn’t miss anything. The topic is " Why do you want to attend The Ohio State University". Any comments will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

For many years, I have considered attending The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine for a professional degree, but I recently discovered the advantages of receiving an undergraduate degree from Ohio State when I attended Pre-Vet Day. Even though I will be an out-of-state student, I felt comfortable at The Ohio State University.
Since relatively few universities possess Animal Science major not to mention one as respected as Ohio State’s, I was initially attracted to the Columbus campus. Unlike a typical Animal Science program, Ohio State’s major offers specialized interests that will allow me to focus on Pre-Veterinary Medicine. With a background in horseback riding and equine 4-H projects, I will also be able to enhance my knowledge of horses with equine science classes. Likewise, I can continue to develop my foreign language skills with a German minor. Ohio State will be able to prepare me with a solid base in the principles of science while satisfying my interests in animals and the German language.
Despite the renowned academics at The Ohio State University, I was impressed by the level of student involvement and found many activities in which I could participate that pertain to my major such as Pre-Veterinary Club and Shades of Animal Sciences. At Pre-Vet Day, the students participated with enthusiasm in presentations and tours which reaffirmed my aspirations to attend a college with a passionate student body. As I learned about the opportunities that Ohio State offers, the Honors College seemed particularly appealing to me when I considered the benefits of living in the honors dorms and graduating with a completed research project.
While I gained knowledge concerning the College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, I also had the pleasure of experiencing the stimulating atmosphere of the Columbus campus.

I hope 500 other potential freshman don’t copy this essay and submit it to TOSU. The admissions people might not appreciate it.

Last year over 26 thousand people applied.

Putting some numbers to that: (26300 essays)*(15 min/essay??)/(60 min/hr) = 6575 hours or 274 days (round the clock for one person) Just to read essays.

Maybe they only spend 5 minutes each…

I really wonder how much weight is placed on the essay at tOSU

Please go back and edit yourself, especially for organization.
