OSUfunguy, question

If I show through my essays and a supplemental package my genuine love for Ohio State and how it’s the only school I want to go to, do you think it could sway an admissions person?

Ohio State is the only school I want to go to

5 or 6 years from now, I want to be singing Carmen, Ohio

Also,

is the admissions process for summer easier in terms of admissions requirments?

Unfortunately, geniune love on an additional essay won’t really do much to help your admission chances. Admissions officers are trained to read through that stuff. I used to have a friend in admissions that says that people would even submit pictures and stuff in their application.

For an admission officer…they would say, if you love Ohio State so much, attend a regional campus for a year and then transfer to main campus.

And no, Ohio State has the same admissions requirements for summer, winter, and spring quarter as they do fall. So no matter what quarter you apply for, you’ll still be judged according to the “fall” admissions standards.

Isn’t regional campuses only for in-staters?

You would have to contact the admissions office on that one, but I’m pretty sure even out-of-staters can attend reg. campuses.

You have a better chance being OOS. You’re paying more money, who doesn’t love money!?
