With your driving test, on the vision exam, is the eye machine split by a partition to where half of the letters/numbers are on each side or is it just in the middle of the machine to where you can read it with one eye?

Here, it looks like a pair of binoculars attached to the counter, if that helps.

I can’t say that I remember and even if I did, I highly doubt that it’s the same everywhere.

And why are you afraid that you won’t be able to pass it? The only thing that comes to mind is that you’re blind/have greatly reduced vision in one eye and if that’s the case, no offense intended, you really shouldn’t be driving.

I had to take an eye test for mine and I have much less vision in one eye than the other. I remember closing one eye to read things, or try to, and it didn’t work. I had to wear my glasses for it. Now, I wear glasses all the time, but at the time they were just reading glasses and it was a pain because I was supposed to wear them every time I drove and I never did because I could see fine with both eyes.

The vision test for mine just made sure you could read the line and see the light on both sides of your head. They also asked if you wear glasses and if so then you got a restraction on your drivers license (kinda like the learners permit one, but this one said that you must wear glasses)

If you can’t pass the test without cheating then you don’t need to be driving.
