Ottawa University - anyone know about it?

My nephew is interested in Ottawa University, in Kansas and Arizona. It seems to be for adult students returning to school. They offer a bachelor degree but no associate degree. Also, math and english are not offered and must be taken at a community college, at additional expense. The cost is high, $380 per credit hour. I can’t seem to find any other information. It is regionally accredited. Does anyone know anything about it?

The Kansas City and Arizona locations are APS (adult) sites for the residential campus located in Ottawa, KS. Through the residential campus (Ottawa, KS) your nephew can obtain a bachelors degree in a variety of different programs. However, we do not offer an associates degree. But through the residential campus we do offer math, English, science, and all other general ed courses. Tuition is $18,070 annually. We also have several scholarship opportunities for your nephew, including: athletics, activities, and academic. I would love to send you some more information to give you more information in detail. Visit our website at ottawa.edu, click on the Residential Campus link, and give us a call in Admissions. I would also highly encourage your nephew to go ahead and fill out an application, which you can also do online at no charge.

Thank you so much. My nephew is in Arizona and has decided to attend, but I don’t understand why he said he’d have to take math and english at the community college. He seems very happy to finally be back in school, and because he’s with adults instead of younger students, I think he’ll do well.
