I was FLAT OUT REJECTED! lol, I kinda agree with their decision though, mainly because I don’t think my essays were what they were looking for… But thats ok because I don’t believe I would have gone there anyways, its just a MAJOR hurt to the ego! But I was definately admitted to Boston University and offered over $37,000 AND I was accepted to Vandy and offered like $40,000, so I am still goin to college… no biggie! I was just puttin this post up here for all ya’ll freakin awesome kids that still got rejected like me!</p>

<p>Woah, is that in scholarship or in like Financial Aid? If your stats are that impressive, I would have expected atleast a Waitlist…

<p>Its all in financial aid, but I didnt apply for specific scholarships or anything… my stats werent incredible: 720 M, 640 R, 680, W ACT: 32 with a 12/12 on the writing, valedictorian of 160ish, very tough schedule, but I honestly put very little effort into the essays, because I had no clue what to write on</p>

i was flat out rejected by 5 schools today (and probably uchicago too) plus i dont even have any money offers so my parents are debating bout sending me to cmu bc its so expensive. ;askldfj mannnnn</p>

<p>Chicago ruined my record…I was on my 7th consecutive acceptance and going for my 8th with Chicago’s!</p>

<p>some of the rejections are quite scary. my stats are similar, but i don’t know if my essay was exactly creative… it was more definitive & rather short (i said what i needed to say, and i didn’t feel that dwelling on it would have much of an impact).</p>
<p>scores are about the same… crappy SAT, soso ACT (1350 SAT, 32 ACT)</p>
<p>my only hooks are AR resident (doesn’t matter in transfer i don’t think) & i lived overseas twice</p>
