What business jobs can you get that pays well, and doesn’t involve handling information that could be used for insider trading?

i don’t know how you can get anywhere within a company without being privy to some kind of material non-public information

are actuaries privy to non public information?

if you’re a corporate actuary, sure!

go work at an institution, non-profit, or otherwise non-publicly traded firm

why would you base your career on whether you know more about your own company then someone on the outside?

Become a commodities trader at a privately held company such as Glencore, Koch, Louis Dreyfuss, etc. No such thing as insider trading in the commodities markets, and the stock of these companies isn’t publicly traded so you can’t really take advantage of your knowledge as a company insider either.

Good luck getting in though. These gigs are harder to get than GS/MS/JPM by a considerable margin.
