My son was accepted OOS from Virginia with 3.59 GPA, 1270 m+cr, 1850 overall, lots of ECs and APs. So I’d say you have a very good chance, but remember, every year is different and it seems like every year is more and more competitive. Also…if you are looking at a limited enrollment program, you might want to ask others about the stats for those programs. (DS was admitted to LEP for Architecture.)

Centh is right, with each yr they are breaking their application record. I believe last yr they were close to 30K apps, the yr before it was in the 28K range. The good news for you is that you are not coming from NY/NJ, which is very competitive.

It also depends on a couple of other things, what your intended major is, and if you took the hardest courses offered. For example if you only took std that 3.7 will be looked at differently than the kid who had a 3.5 uw, but 9 AP’s. To them they will give the edge to the lower gpa since they took the harder curriculum making them a better student to take the risk on. Also, they like to take the AP kids, because they then can boast that XX% of students had X amt of APs, making them look more prestigious.
