what are some schools schools out of state that i can afford with a 3.3 gpa, unweighted, and at 1600 sat score? location isn’t a huge deal but out west or down south is nice. i am looking for a good school for marketing. i have a lot of ECs and the price budget is around 25k a year after loans/scholarships. i am from new england. i am looking at Arizona state and clolrado state so far.

I doubt that you’d get any merit from ASU or Colorado State. Your stats are ok, but they’re not in the range for merit recipients. there are probably some lesser-known schools that may give you merit. There are some lesser known privates that offer some small merit to nearly everyone, but their net costs will be higher than $30k
You’ll get a $5500 loan, so it appears that you need to find schools that cost about $30k or less.
What kind of school do you want? big, small, rural, city, sports/rah rah, quiet?
What is your M+CR?
What is your home state? New Hampshire?
I have a 3.3 with a lower SAT, so some suggestions I’ve received may work for you.
I’m low-income, so these schools offered me financial aid. If you’re not FA eligible, maybe you’d receive merit aid.
