<p>After all my grant money was applied to my account, I was -2500. And I did not quailfy for any student loan except for the parent plus loan but my father is in jail. Do anyone know any scholarships that I could apply for? I need to have the money by september 1, 2009.</p>
<p>You do qualify for an unsubsidized Stafford loan - all students (assuming you are a US citizen or eligible permanent resident and have not otherwise ineligible - such as having reached your maximum cumulative in loans) are eligible for up that. The maximum depends on your year of school - freshman is $5500. And your total aid including the loans cannot exceed the schools COA.</p>
